MEET THE ARTIST
My work is rooted in close observation—of people, places, and the often-overlooked details of daily life. Whether drawn from the grit of urban spaces or the quiet rhythm of nature, each piece reflects a moment or feeling I’ve encountered in the world around me.
As a self-taught artist, I explore these impressions using a mixed media approach. Acrylic, oil paint, plaster, oil crayons, charcoal, and spray paint come together in layered compositions that reflect both the complexity and fluidity of human experience. The tactile quality of these materials allows me to build depth—both visually and emotionally.
Having lived in West Africa, Mexico, and Europe, my perspective is shaped by diverse cultures and environments. These life experiences have instilled in me a deep belief in the interconnectedness of all people. Through my art, I aim to create a space where viewers can pause, reflect, and perhaps recognize something of themselves or their world in the work—bridging personal and collective experience.
Ultimately, my practice is an ongoing exploration of connection: to place, to memory, and to each other.
